extracellular matrix discoindin domain receptor corpus luteum infertility
Objective To make a new understanding of extracellular matrix function on ovary and to provide new clues for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. Methods ① Estrus cycle of mice were detected using vaginal exfoliated cells smear method. ② The structure and morphology of ovary and uterus were observed by HE staining. Results ① During sexual maturity period, the slie mice had a disorder oestrous cycle, lacking of obvious oestrus and the vast majority in estrogen interphase. ② The administration of exogenous gonadotropins induced follicular growth to the Graffian stage. It failed to alter the anovulatory phenotype of slie homozygotes, full luteinization of the thecal cells did not occur and no corpora lutea were formed. All these induced Endometrial development disorder. Conclusion Ddr2 deficiency lead to the ability of mice ovarian response to gonadotropin declined, ovulation and corpus luteum formation obstacle even after the administration of exogenous gonadotropins.
